Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God* *in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. I Corinthians 6:19‭-‬20 NKJV‬

Your redemption from sin and Satan’s captivity was at a cost, a huge cost for that matter. God laid down the life of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ in exchange for your own life. Jesus in turn suffered and was afflicted so that you may be set free, He was striped naked that you may be clothed with God’s righteousness, He was rejected that you may be accepted and adopted into the family of God, He bled at the cross in order that you may be blessed, He died that you may live both now and forever and on the third day He defeated death by His resurrection from the dead so that you may be freed from the power of death and live in victory forever.

All these were done so that you may become God’s own treasured possession for renown, for praise and for glory. Now that you are still alive and living in this world, there is just one reasonable thing He required of you as a mark of your gratitude to Him for the inestimable price He paid for your soul: that you offer your body to Him as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. This offering of your body for Him to dwell and manifest His glory to the world is more than your money or any other material possessions you may give to Him.

Note this, the same Jesus who came to redeem you at first is coming back again to take everyone who believes in Him and serves Him faithfully into His eternal Kingdom which He had prepared for all His saints. How prepared and ready are you to meet Him if He stepped out of heaven right now to take you home? What fruit of your life do you have to present to Him?

The news of the second coming of Jesus is not a fiction. It is certain that He is coming back again at the hour nobody knows. Therefore, be prepared to meet Him and get ready to go by the first flight any time He appears. May the Lord help you not to be caught unawares whenever He returns.Good morning and do have a blissful weekend.
