The king of Arad, the Canaanite, who dwelt in the South, heard that Israel was coming on the road to Atharim. Then he fought against Israel and took some of them prisoners. So Israel made a vow to the Lord , and said, “If You will indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.” And the Lord listened to the voice of Israel and delivered up the Canaanites, and they utterly destroyed them and their cities. So the name of that place was called Hormah. Numbers 21:1-3 NKJV
Trials and tribulations come at different times and in different ways to us as God’s people. Whenever you face trials in any form or in any way, God does not expect you to complain, grumble or engage in blame game. Also, no amount of worry, anxiety and fear will resolve the ugly situation.
On the contrary, if you will rise up in the arms of faith with courage to confront the enemies who have decided to exploit and torment you head long in the place of prayer, trusting God for supernatural power and divine help to defeat the enemies, God will surely listen to your cry, rescue you from all your troubles, give you monumental victory and restore to you all that the enemies have taken away from you.
Difficult situations are God’s given opportunities to experience His saving power in your life rather than occasions for you to suffer pain and anguish. But then, the attitude you display will make the difference. May the LORD God Almighty equip you this week with divine strength, courage and faith to rise against and overcome every evil power and difficult situation that is to render you a victim this week in Jesus name. Good morning and do have a blessed week.
