For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.

Genesis 7:17-18 

The only place where you can be assured of divine safety, protection and deliverance from sudden death and destruction is “in the secret place of the Most High God” and “under the shadow of the Almighty,”  

The only One in whom you can place your trust, hope and confidence in a time such as this and you will not be disappointed at last is Jesus Christ. Every other person or thing has no capacity to protect, protect and preserve you but Christ alone. Placing your hope on any other thing apart from Jesus is like lying on the spider’s web which cannot hold or support but will end in a crash. 

This present world and everything therein will pass away but the Word of God abides forever. If you desire to stay afloat and survive the flood of life, put your trust only in Jesus and remain in Him no matter what. Only in Him is life and in Him alone is your true security. May the Lord help you to daily live and abide only in Jesus. Good morning and do have a victorious day.
