But thanks be to God! For in union with Christ we are always led by God as prisoners in Christ’s victory procession. God uses us to make the knowledge about Christ spread everywhere like a sweet fragrance. For we are like a sweet-smelling incense offered by Christ to God, which spreads among those who are being saved and those who are being lost. For those who are being lost, it is a deadly stench that kills; but for those who are being saved, it is a fragrance that brings life. Who, then, is capable for such a task? 2 Corinthians 2:14‭-‬16 GNT

God’s purpose for your election in Christ Jesus is that you will be His censer which He uses to diffuse the fragrance of His knowledge everywhere in every place. This your divine purpose supersede your vocation in life.

Your chosen career no matter what is it, is the platform to fulfil your calling as a child of God. Wherever God places you, you are there to represent Him, beaming His light in the dark world. As light exposes darkness and drives it away, you have been chosen not to conform with the practices of the world but to denounce  all sinful practices where you are. It is only when you fulfill this that God rejoices over you and pours out His blessings upon you.

Therefore, be free from self-centered preoccupations of life. Shine as light, stand for  righteousness, dare to make your calling and election and calling known in the midst of corrupt society like ours and impact eternity. If you stand for God in every place, it is certain God will also stand with you always. I pray the Lord gives you the courage to make a full proof of your calling everywhere you go from this day forward in Jesus name. Have a glorious day.
