And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.” And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. While trials and tribulations are inescapable in the Christian life, it is also not the will of God to bring you out of your formal life of bondage, afflictions, and torment only to live you stranded and helpless along the way to His glorious destination promised to you.

However, you must know that the key to living a fulfilled and victorious Christian life includes upward movement with great determination and courage. When you endeavor to look away from your past and press forward with faith, hope, and courage, you will surely make it to the next level in the Divine Agenda.

This courage stems out of the knowledge that nothing can happen to you without the express permission of God and that everything God allows in your life He will also use to accomplish His good purposes for your life (Rom. 8:28). So, as you set out this new day, I pray the Lord will help you to move forward regardless of the seeming challenges and obstacles into the glorious future the LORD God has promised you in Jesus name. Have a victorious weekend.

Your brother,
