Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them. Exodus 2:23‭-‬25 NKJV*

No earthly king no matter how powerful, brutal, insensitive and ruthless that will last forever. Every human has his/her expiry date and it is appointed to everyone to die once.

Likewise, there’s no condition or circumstances no matter how tough, rough, humiliating and bitter that will last forever. Only God is eternal for He has no beginning nor end. He towers above all and He is supremely supreme over all.

Who is the king of Egypt in your life right now? What condition has he subjected you too and how bad, harsh  and bitter he is making you to feel? What situation are you passing through now? Under what bondage are you groaning and serving with rigour? It is just a matter of time, it will happen to you also once the process of time is completed, the tyranny, afflictions, bondage, hard labour and your groaning must end.

God still cares for you in spite of your terrible conditions. He hears your cry, He sees your torment and every tears that flows from your eyes and He has looked upon you with favour.  Therefore, weep no more and don’t quit yet! Your tough times shall never last. God only intends to use your troubles to toughen you in order that you may outlast them. May the Lord this day strengthen your feeble knees and give you the courage to wait till He comes.  Cheer up! Your appointed time of favor is now.
