Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and head across the lake to Bethsaida, while he sent the people home. After telling everyone good-bye, he went up into the hills by himself to pray. Late that night, the disciples were in their boat in the middle of the lake, and Jesus was alone on land. He saw that they were in serious trouble, rowing hard and struggling against the wind and waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. He intended to go past them, Then he climbed into the boat, and the wind stopped. They were totally amazed, Mark 6:45‭-‬48‭, ‬51 NLT

As it were, life in this world comes with different experiences. At one time, we are on the mountaintops where everything is rosy, exciting, and promising. Even what appears difficult and impossible to accomplish becomes easy and possible. At such times, God’s presence with us looks so real, authentic, and reliable.

At another time, we find ourselves in a terrible, terrific, and terrifying situation that leaves us perplexed, stranded, and hopeless. After we have tried all the possible alternatives, applying all our skills, knowledge, and experiences in life, the situation remains unchanging and we become despair of life itself

Nevertheless, as a disciple of Jesus Christ, you must never give up yet and draw your conclusion until you have heard from Jesus. The Lord who  saved you, called you to follow Him and who has set you on the motion will not suffer any harm to befall you nor permit any disaster to finish you in the middle of your journey. He will come for your intervention, save you through the storms, and lead you safely to the destination He had in mind for you at long last.

Your appointment with Jesus is not unto death, destruction, and damnation, it is unto life, victory and joy everlasting. Remain steadfast and persistent in the faith, your story will soon turn to glory and you will yet sing a new song. Good morning. Do have a victorious and triumphant weekend.

Your brother,
