Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick. When Jesus heard that, He said, this sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it. Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.
John 11:1-6

There are times in life it seems God is not interested about your wellbeing. At such time you wonder whether God truly loves you or whether He actually remembers your commitment, sacrifice and faithful service unto Him. If He truly loves you how can He failed to answer when you called? Why does He delayed in His coming? Or, why do you get exact opposite answer to your plea for His help?

Fellow pilgrim, the love of God for you is undebatable, uncontestable and unquestionable. He loves you no matter what. Even in His seemingly delay or in His response that seemed exact opposite to your expectation, He has clearly showed His love and utmost concern for you. He says, this sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.

Just take Him by His Word, exercise a little more patience. The two days of His delayed answer will soon be over, He will surely arrive eventually. Truly speaking, when He comes, He will manifest His glory and you will come to know Him by personal experience that He has not appointed you for death, sympathy, sorrow and defeat but for eternal joy, eternal glory and eternal life. Wait for Him, He will soon come to make all things new again. Good morning.

Your brother,
