After Lot had gone, the Lord said to Abram, “Look as far as you can see in every direction—north and south, east and west. I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession. And I will give you so many descendants that, like the dust of the earth, they cannot be counted! Go and walk through the land in every direction, for I am giving it to you.” So Abram moved his camp to Hebron and settled near the oak grove belonging to Mamre. There he built another altar to the Lord. Genesis 13:14-18 NLT

At first, all that God gives His true disciples are: the vision that speaks of the end and the promise to inherit what has been shown. It takes prompt obedience to take an immediate action of stepping out of the certainty that is, where you are currently and what you are holding on to right now to receive what God is revealing to you by promise.

When you have done what God has asked you to do, you will still need to exercise patience, persistence and perseverance before every promise becomes reality. What guarantees the fulfilment of God’s promise is the nature and the integrity of the God who made the promise.

The God whom you serve cannot lie and His word also cannot fail. Hold on to His word with your eyes focused on His promises and you will find Him faithful eventually. May the LORD God help you this day to hear Him, believe Him and trust Him to act promptly on His instruction or direction to you. Good morning and do have a splendid day.
