“But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.” Matthew 28:5-7

The events of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ reveal the undeniable proof that no matter how long evil and wickedness seemed to have lasted, no matter how far the evil men appear to have prospered and no matter how conspiracy between hell and humanity against God and His purpose might have lasted, at long last God and His purpose shall surely prevail.

On Friday that Jesus died or He was brutally murdered at the cross, Satan and his cohorts had thought they had won as God seemed to have been silent, forsaken and abandoned His only begotten Son to the highest level of human cruelty.

The second day, Saturday seemed the most hopeless day for the Son of God, there was absolute silence both on earth and in heaven. Unlike what happened on Friday while He was still on the Cross, nature seemed to have protested against the greatest injustice the world had ever witnessed for it was reported that there was darkness for complete three hours.

However, at long last, on Sunday morning the Heaven responded with a great earthquake as God exerted His incomparably great power to raise His Son from the dead.

Likewise, the resurrection of Jesus is a guarantee that there is no depth no matter how deep you might have fallen into that God by His Supernatural Power cannot lift you up, there is no situation no matter how complex or hopeless you found yourself that God cannot transform into jubilation and there is no hour of the day no matter how thick the darkness seems to have overwhelmed you that the glorious light of God cannot rise and shine over you again.

Therefore, brace up in hope and weep no more. Today, heaven shall respond on your behalf, God will come in His mighty power, He will draw you out of the miry clay or whatever seems like the grave, He will raise you up from the heap of ashes and make you sit among the princes of the people, He will turn your mourning into dancing, your bondage to freedom, adversity to prosperity and darkness to light. You will rise again, you will shine again and you will celebrate and be celebrated again in Jesus name. Congratulations, it is the RESURRECTION DAY.
