But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He rises from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
The events of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ reveal the undeniable proof that no matter how long evil and wickedness seemed to have lasted, no matter how far the evil men appear to have prospered, and no matter how long the conspiracy between hell and humanity against God and His purpose might have lasted, God and His purpose will surely prevail eventually.
On Friday that Jesus died or that He was brutally murdered at the cross, Satan and his cohorts thought they had won as God seemed to have been silent, forsaken, and abandoned His only begotten to the highest level of cruelty of mankind.
The second day, Saturday was even the most hopeless day for the Son of God because of the absolute silence both on earth and in heaven compared to Friday when nature seemed to have protested against the greatest injustice the world had ever witnessed for it was reported that there was darkness for complete three hours.
However, at long last, on Sunday morning, Heaven responded with a great earthquake as God exerted His incomparably great power to raise His Son from the dead.
Likewise, for you, the resurrection of Jesus is a guarantee that there is no depth no matter how deep you might have fallen into that God by His Supernatural Power cannot lift you from. There is no situation no matter how complex or hopeless you found yourself that God cannot transform into jubilation for you and there is no hour of the day no matter how dark the darkness seems to have overwhelmed you that the glorious light of God cannot rise and shine over you again.
Therefore, brace up in hope and weep no more. Today may appear like your Friday or Saturday but certainly, your Sunday morning is coming. You will rise again, you will shine again and you will celebrate and be celebrated again in Jesus’ name. Congratulations, it is the RESURRECTION DAY and it is your glorious new beginning.
