So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.  Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’ ” So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army. Ezekiel 37:7‭-‬10 NIV*

In the Christian life and Christian service, God is only pleased with and rewards *FULFILMENT* and not *ACHIEVEMENTS* . Achievements are but means to an end while fulfilment is the ultimate end. What is the specific purpose of God for your life? What’s the particular task or mandate God gives to you in your present location or office? How far have you gone in fulfilling it?

Don’t be carried away yet with the various achievements God has given to you or He’s still giving you presently. All the various successes, breakthroughs you have experienced thus far are meant to motivate, encourage and inspire you to remain committed and faithful to His mandate. Until the dry bones receive the breath of life and rise to become exceedingly great army, you have not yet fulfilled and served the purpose for which God brought you into that office or in your current location.

All the noises, the rattling you hear and you are celebrating as a result of bones coming together, the flesh and the sinews covering them are not necessarily useful to God yet. Until the breath comes, those things you are rejoicing over are at best dead bodies that are of no profit to God. Except the Spirt comes and there is a complete transformation, awakening, revitalization in the system or in the polity and the life of Jesus is formed in the lives of the people, you have not really succeeded in your assignment.

Only the Spirit gives life, the flesh profits nothing. Only the living can worship God in truth and in the Spirit and such are the true worshippers God is seeking to worship Him. So, may the Lord help you to keep the right focus of your life and His purpose for your appointment that you may receive His approval at the end of your pilgrimage in Jesus name. Good morning and do have a profitable and fulfilling week in Jesus Name.
