Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken.
Psalms 34:19‭-‬20 NKJV

Generally speaking, troubles and afflictions in any form are considered as reward for wicked and unrighteous living. Both the moral and spiritual laws confirm this. For instance, the law of retribution says a person reaps exactly what he sows. The Bible also says,.”evil shall slay the wicked…” (Psalm 34:21).

However, there is a.diffeence between the afflictions of the righteous and that of the wicked. While evil in any form is the reward that is, the end of the wicked, the sinner and the ungodly but for the righteous, the godly and the saint it is a means to a fulfilling and a glorious end.

In other words,.there is hope for the righteous no matter how dark and terrible the situation. The wicked on the other hand have no hope but to perish except they repent. The hope of the righteous remains in the presence of the living God with him in His trials. God will never leave nor forsake the righteous, He is with him to keep, preserve, save and deliver him from all his troubles and turn the trials to testimonies eventually if he remains faithful till the end.

Therefore, no matter what your experience at present, keep your hope alive in Christ. You are not alone in that valley and in that furnace of afflictions, the Lord Jesus Christ who is the fourth man in the fiery furnace is with you to help you, strengthen you and save you eventually.

The events of His trials, death, burial and resurrection are enough proves for you that there is no wickedness, no injustice, no falsehood and no evil orchestrated against you that will ruin and destroy you. Rather, the LORD God Almighty who is with you will use all of those to work out His good purposes for your life and bring you to a glorious end eventually. So, don’t give up for your God will save you and give you victory at last. May the Lord help you remain strong till you win.
