The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord , And to inquire in His temple. Psalms 27:1-4 NKJV

Our various battles we face in life will either take us away from the presence of God to seek refuge elsewhere or draw us closer to Him to hide under the shadow of His wings for refuge. Whichever choice you make is determined by your previous knowledge of God in relation to His plans, purpose and provisions for your life.

But know this, fleeing or hiding away from the presence of God in time of crisis leads to exhaustion, despair, discouragement, failure and defeat. On the contrary, tarrying in His presence brings faith courage, hope, confidence, encouragement, strength, peace, safety, protection, provision, victory and inexpressible joy no matter the prevalent circumstances around you.

No matter how fierce the battle, Jesus is all you need and it is by His strength alone you can triumph over every foe that comes against you. I pray for you today that your topmost priority will remain to seek the Lord and to dwell in His presence everyday of your life, who alone can hide you in the secret place of His tabernacle and save you from every trouble. Good morning.
