If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you. Leviticus 26:3-4, 14-15,17

The common deception in our days is that God is obligated to bless us regardless of how we live. This is not true and it is not consistent with the Word of God.

Every blessing of God is hinged upon our obedience to His command. It is only when you have carefully heeded to do all that God commands: to love the Lord with all your heart, soul and strength, faithfully walk in all His ways, steadfastly hold on to Him and wholeheartedly serve Him that God pours out His blessings upon you and gives you rest on every side.

But when you are unfaithful, He uses your enemies to discipline you. So, don’t take God for granted and beware of the soothsayers.

God knows those who are His, and He will never make the mistake to give the children’s bread to the dogs. I pray the Lord will help you to heed His counsel, live in obedience to His commands and your life will be filled with His blessings even in a time such as this. Good morning.
