But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, “Look, my master has spared Naaman this Syrian, while not receiving from his hands what he brought; but as the Lord lives, I will run after him and take something from him.” So Gehazi pursued Naaman…”
Now he went in and stood before his master. Elisha said to him, “Where did you go, Gehazi?” And he said, “Your servant did not go anywhere.” Then he said to him, “Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants? Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.
II Kings 5:20-21, 25-27 NKJV

Abundant life comes by totally yielding your life to Jesus and following Him daily. Seeking personal gain at the expense of your integrity and salvation of your soul is never worth the cost.

God places high value on Christlike character and close integrity. You will do well in life if you resist the temptation to compromise your Christian conviction, godly and moral values in the pursuits of worldly pleasures, riches and comforts.

Know this, God watches and blesses according to the purity of your heart in His time and in His ways. Riches, honors, promotions and fame that come through dishonesty and by fraud may taste sweet but for a while, at the end they turn to gravel in a man’s mouth (Prov. 27:17).

God still blesses His children till today, but only those who put their trust in Him and wait patiently on Him. I pray the Lord will help you to wait on Him to receive your true and lasting blessings in Christ Jesus. Good morning and do have a refreshing weekend.

Your brother,
