Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:10-13 NKJV

As a Christian who is committed to following Jesus Christ and serving His purpose on earth, you are in a spiritual battle of universal proportion against organized network of Satanic forces with clearly defined level of authority. Unfortunately, this warfare is not physical but spiritual and the goal of the various oppositions and attacks against you in any form is to render you unfruitful, unproductive and unfulfilled in life both here and in eternity.

Your attitude to the enemy’s schemes therefore is never to negotiate with him, you are not to flee the battle ground and not to compromise with him. Rather, you are commanded to engage the Lord’s strength and His mighty power, take on every piece of divine armor, stand your ground firmly and pray always in the Spirit.

One thing that is worthy of note for you is that you are not fighting for victory but from victory. However, the only way to appropriate your victory over the Devil which Jesus Christ by the events of His suffering, death on the Cross and resurrection from the dead has won for you over 2000 years ago is to stand your ground in Christ and firmly resist the enemy by faith and in the name of Jesus. May you never be tired but remain strong in the battle until you emerged victoriously eventually both here on earth and hereafter in heaven. Good morning and do have a victorious day.
