But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. “Let’s go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!” But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!”… “The land we travelled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them, we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!” Numbers 13:30‭-‬33 NLT

The difference between the conquerors and the defeated/losers is their perception and the difference between faith and fear is in the picture they see and their reliance.

If all you see in every situation is obstacles, challenges, difficulties and the giants you will always look like the grasshopper. If all you always rely on is your ability, resources and experience you will always feel weak, feeble and incapable of doing any exploit.

On the contrary, if you can look away from yourself: your personal ability, resources and skills; look away from what you can see, feel or hear no matter how intimidating, terrible and worse the situation might look or appear. And if you will be able to see HIM who is invisible, powerful, faithful and resourceful to help you fulfil what He has promised. Certainly, you will surely be strengthened in your inner man and courageous to advance without further delay to confront the enemies and possess your promised inheritance in Christ.

As you step out this week, I pray the LORD God will increase your knowledge of HIM so that you may have the faith and the courage not only to believe in Him who can do the impossible, you will be courageous enough to silence the cowards and fearful ones around you who may want to deny you access into your glorious inheritance in Christ Jesus. Good morning and do have a victorious and fruitful week.
