PURSUING GOD AND POSSESSING HIM ALL YOUR LIFE
“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.
I Chronicles 28:9 NKJV
There is a great difference between knowing God intellectually and knowing Him experientially. It is only when you have a personal and intimate knowledge of God that you can experience inner peace and absolute rest from all your toiling in life.
However, the precondition for knowing God intimately is for you to seek Him wholeheartedly. When you earnestly and deeply thirst for God, He will surely reveal Himself to you, fill up the emptiness of your life and quench the thirsty of your soul.
Also, He will make you dwell regularly in His courts where He will satisfy you daily with all the goodness of His house, lift you up from the heap of ashes and make you sit among the princes of His people. He will give you victory in all your life’s battles and make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations. He will continue to use you as His instrument for accomplishing His purposes on earth.
So, as you begin the journey into the new month today, I pray the LORD God will help you to always set Him before you, create in you a strong and sincere quest for His presence and you shall never be moved but emerge victorious regardless of the experience ahead you in Jesus name. Have a blessed and joyous month.
