So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses’ anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain. Then he took the calf which they had made, burned it in the fire, and ground it to powder; and he scattered it on the water and made the children of Israel drink it. Exodus 32:19‭-‬20 NKJV

Frankly speaking, it can be highly disturbing, disgusting and distasteful to see the people who have been saved by grace and separated unto God still indulging in shameful practices like the people of the world.

However, no matter how displeasing and provoking what you noticed in others life, beware of your reaction and how you react. Uncontrolled anger can destroy the work of God in your hand, will rob you of God’s revelation and divine tool with which you have been equipped both to live and serve Him in the midst of unrighteous and unfaithful people.

The anger of a man truly does not work the righteousness of God. Rather, it will only render you empty and stagnate you in your pursuit of God. While it is expected of you to show displeasure towards sin, you also must allow God’s Spirit to guide and control your emotion that you don’t get trapped in the same web of sin. May the Lord God help you to take heed to yourself and manage your emotion in a way that will glorify His holy name and edify you and others watching you in Jesus name. Have a fruitful week.
