” And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying:..” Matthew 10:1‭, ‬5 NKJV

As it were, no one can qualify for divine service without being called in the first instance. Only those that God has called He has also commissioned to go on His mission into the world and only those He has sent out He has equipped and empowered to fulfill the divine mandate.

Considering the nature, the scope, and the terrain to carry out our divine mission, it will be suicidal for anyone to embark on God’s mission without being called and empowered by Him. At best, such a person will turn out to become a victim rather than a victor, the conquered instead of a conqueror, ended up falling where he should have stood, become a failure where he should have succeeded, frustrated where he ought to have experienced fulfillment and molested where he should have excelled and prospered.

Also, you must know that divine empowerment is for the fulfillment of your divine mission on earth and not for personal aggrandizement. Don’t trivialize any assignment you are given by the Lord, every task you are assigned by God is a call to spiritual warfare.

Therefore, you must be divinely positioned and equipped for you to succeed. God’s work is a divine service and it must be done in God’s way and by God’s means. May the Lord God equip and fill you with strength, power, might, and wisdom from above to fulfill your divine mission in life in Jesus’ name. Good morning and do have a blessed worship service.
