“Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I teach you to observe, that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers is giving you. You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:1-2 NKJV

All the promises of God for us as His children are hinged on the complete revelation of His word to us: His statutes, judgements, commandments and testimonies. There’s nothing and absolutely nothing that God can do outside His word.

Also, what guarantees the quality of your life, and your entrance into the Promised Land to receive your inheritance in Christ is your desire to pay attention to all the instructions of God to you and your willingness to do exactly as He tells you to do.

God’s word in any form it comes to you leaves no room for you to modify or adjust it to suit your own interest or your convenience. That will be tantamount to adulteration of God’s counsel. You will prosper by His word only when you obey Him fully. May the Lord help you this day to be attentive as He speaks and obey Him fully no matter the cost.
