NAVIGATING THROUGH A LONELY AND DREARY PATHS
They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way; They found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place. Psalms 107:4-7 NKJV
There are times in the Christian life and ministry that it seems you have come to a dead end; when it seems everything has turned upside down and the whole world is crashing on you. It is usually a time of complete dryness, a time when nothing seems to work again.
At such time, it even seems as if God has forgotten and abandoned you. You call for help and no one sees you or answers or any hope seems to be in view. Usually, it is a time of complete blackout and a time when heavens appear to have been closed against you.
At such a terrible and distressing situation, there’s no alternative way God expects you to take other than to turn to Him, cry unto Him in a fervent and earnest prayer. If you will not give up but look up, if you will not concede defeat but rise up in the arms of faith and cry out to God, He will surely reach out to you to rescue you. He will take you by His hand and lead you to a City He has built for you to dwell and enjoy His goodness. It’s not over for you yet, there’s still hope for your future! Call upon God NOW and you will yet find Him faithful. Good morning and do have a refreshing day.
