Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, while he himself went on a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had  enough, LORD,” He said, “Take my life.” I am no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep. 1 Kings 19:3-5

It is not unusual for the faithful to feel frustrated, neglected, forsaken and abandoned by God sometimes when the battles become fierce and help is not in view. It is very much possible for the righteous to be discouraged and temporarily lose perspective especially when the fulfilment of the promise is prolonged and the labour pain is multiplied.

Nonetheless, you must never give up! Though the battles may be tough, God remains faithful still, His faithfulness is ever sure and He is never too late but always on time. If you keep your hope alive despite the pressure from both within and without, God also will not fail on His part. He will uphold you, renew your strength and comfort you on every side till His Word comes to pass.

He cannot lie, He only needs ample time to make you and turn you into a finished product that will fit perfectly into His purpose and for the next level He has prepared ahead for you. So, I pray the Lord will grant strength to your inner man and make you strong that you may not break down at this point of your breakthrough in Jesus name. Good morning and do have a fulfilling day.
