Jesus said to her, your brother will rise again. Martha said to Him, I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day. John 11:23-24

It’s usually looks absurd and unrealistic to remember and still hold on to the promises of God at certain time in our Christian pilgrimage here in this world. At such time, we feel our situation is irredeemable, hopeless and too late for God to act again.

Nevertheless, the sovereignty of our God and His Almightiness over all things: present and future, physical and spiritual, visible and invisible, good and evil, life and death make Him unquestionable, reliable and able to do all He has promised.

So, with Jesus you can still make it, with Him you can still overcome. As long as you can still hold on to Jesus Christ there is still hope for your future. No matter how worst, terrible and how degenerating your situation might be before His arrival, Jesus says, your dead shall rise again. Meaning, it is not yet over for you. You will still flourish, blossom and bring forth again.

Therefore, hold on to Jesus Christ still and His promises. With Him nothing, I say absolutely nothing is impossible. May your weary soul be awakened and rejuvenated today in Jesus name. Good morning.

Your brother,

Olufemi Babalola
