For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.
Deut 8:7‭-‬9 NKJV

God has not chosen and call you to follow Him for nothing. He has wonderful plans and purposes for your life. God’s will is always best, but it lies on the other side of faith. It will take time to move from having the promise to receiving it practically. Between the point the Lord gave the promise and the time of its fulfilment is the wilderness experience.

God’s intention for allowing us to go through the wilderness is not to punish or suffer us. Rather, it is an opportunity to learn to depend upon Him and know Him by practical experience.

It is not enough to know God’s will in our heads, we must also step out by faith and experience it in life. We will not enter into the good land and enjoy it if we allow unbelief to keep us planted firmly where we are. May the LORD God help you to follow Him wholeheartedly as He leads you to your promised inheritance. Good morning.

Your brother,
