Then he spoke to the children of Israel, saying: “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, ‘What are these stones?’ then you shall let your children know, saying, ‘Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry land’; for the Lord, your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over, that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty, that you may fear the Lord your God forever.”
Joshua 4:21‭-‬24 NKJV

In our pilgrimage as God’s people in this world, we are bound to face different difficulties, trials, and oppositions. While the enemy intends to use them as obstacles, hindrances, and barriers to our fulfillment, the LORD our God uses them as stepping stones, thoroughfares, and opportunities for showcasing His glory in our lives.

One thing that is sure in the midst of or in the face of our life’s troubles and challenges is victory. This victory that God gives us is always for His sake, not ours. When God chooses to work powerfully through us and in us, people see His activity, not our ability. But if we resist God’s will and retreat in the face of trials, we lose the opportunity to glorify Him in our lives.

So, as you set out on this new day, fear not whatever comes your way. God’s awesome and terrifying presence is with you, He will show Himself mighty on your behalf, He will dry up every water that is meant to drown you and you shall cross over victoriously. The watching world shall see His glory in your story in Jesus’ name. Good morning.

Your brother,
