There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar. Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. Genesis 26:1‭-‬3 NKJV

God uses different events or circumstances in our lives to arrange for an encounter with Him. So, never despise or run away from any situation that comes along your way whether pleasant or unpleasant.

Instead, seek to know God’s perspective of your present condition in life before you reach the conclusion whether it is God or the Devil that is at work. Don’t be in haste as to take a permanent decision in a temporary situation.

To everyone that loves God and to those that are called according to His divine purpose, usually, God uses *all things* together for good for it is He (God) and not Satan that works in us both to will and to do according to His good purpose.

What is important is your understanding of God’s dealings with you even in every circumstance you find yourself. May the LORD God grant you the patience to endure whatever situation till He accomplishes His divine plan for your life at last. Good morning and do have a restful weekend.
