There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar. Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. Genesis 26:1‭-‬3 NKJV

God uses different events or circumstances to arrange for an encounter with Him. Never despise or run away from any situation that comes along your way.

Rather, seek to know God’s perspective of your present condition in life before you reach the conclusion whether it is the Devil that is at work.

To everyone that loves God and to those that are called according to His divine purpose, usually, *all things* work together for good for it is He (God) and not Satan that works in us both to will and to do according to His good purpose.

Your difficult situations are only incidental, what is more critical is your understanding of God’s dealings with you and your patience to endure whatever circumstances God may allow for you to pass through in order that He may accomplish His divine plan for your life at last. May the Lord help you to develop a positive attitude and remain faithful with Him till the end. Have a restful weekend.
