When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved. After they had gone a long time without food, Paul stood up before them and said: “Men, you should have taken my advice not to sail from Crete; then you would have spared yourselves this damage and loss. But now I urge you to keep up your courage,
because not one of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed. Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’ So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me. Acts 27:20-25 NIV

It is not your location nor the situations or circumstances around you that determines your sense of peace and security in life but your personal knowledge and relationship with God.

As long as your focus is on Jesus, His majesty and His love for you, and as long as you can trust Him absolutely with your life and future, what is happening in or around you does not really
matter. The LORD whom you believe and to whom you belong is with you to save you and rescue from every threat and the desire of the evil ones.

Once you can see your situations from God’s perspective and remember His promises to you, your heart will definitely be saturated with His peace. The consciousness of His presence with you will always produce in you the inner strength to stand strong in every situation and give you the courage to press on in life regardless of the prevailing situations around you.

Don’t give up yet but hold tenaciously to His promises revealed to you by His word for it will come to pass just as He has said in it’s time. May the Lord Jesus help you to steadfastly look unto Him
and walk closely with Him without wavering. Good morning and do have a peaceful day.

Your brother,
