O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom and majesty, glory and honor. And because of the majesty that He gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him. Whomever he wished, he executed; whomever he wished, he kept alive; whomever he wished, he set up; and whomever he wished, he put down. But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him. Then he was driven from the sons of men, his heart was made like the beasts, … till he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and appoints over it whomever He chooses. Daniel 5:18‭-‬21 NKJV

It is God’s utmost desire to elevate and bless anyone in whom He is well pleased beyond his or her widest dream and imagination. God does all this because man has always been His method for accomplishing all His purposes on earth.

However, God detests pride and hates arrogance. The moment anyone He has graciously exalted becomes proud and reckless with impunity and despised the several warnings of the Lord, God also will not hesitate to uproot him from the exalted throne He has lifted him.

There is no honour, glory, and popularity you have today except that which God has given you. There is no position you occupy today other than where God has elevated you. Therefore, be careful of how you act, what you say and where you place God in your heart. He who plants a tree in his vineyard can easily decide to cut it ✂️ down if it does not yield the desired fruit. May the Lord help you to acknowledge Him always in your heart and maximize whatever position or status He places you only for His glory in Jesus’ name. Good morning.

Your brother,
