So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. Colossians 3:1‭-‬2 MSG

As a true believer in Christ Jesus, you have been saved and set free from sins, from the sinful nature, from the dominion of Satan and from the clutches of death. This victorious life you now have is not on the basis of your own righteousness but basically by the righteousness of Jesus Christ whom God made to become a sin offering for you. Though, He knew no sin but in order that you might be delivered from the power of sin, God offered Him as a sin offering for you.

By implications, His righteous life which qualified Him to enjoy intimacy, peace and to be in right standing with God was exchanged with your own wretched, hopeless and sinful life that made you an enemy and stranger to all the covenants and promises of God. So, by the righteousness of Christ that has been imputed on you through faith in Christ you are now a free man and you have been given access to God through Jesus.

However, it’s your responsibility under God to maintain the victory and the dominion you have been given in Christ. This comes by your choice to daily live by faith, looking only unto Jesus Christ, trusting and depending absolutely on Him whatever happens and seeing your situations only from His perspective. May the Lord help you you to always choose to follow and look only unto Jesus every moment of your life. Good morning.

Your brother,
