Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him so that he could both talk and see. All the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the Son of David?” But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.” Matthew 12:22-24 NIV

Your faithfulness in doing the will of God with corresponding results will certainly come with several attacks. One of them is blackmail. Therefore, you must always know this: the world’s evaluation is often the exact opposite of the truth. God is never swayed by the malicious opinions of the people but forges ahead in accomplishing His will despite the activities of the detractors.

So, never get turned aside or weighed down by the comments of ignorant people. But remain true to God’s plan and let eternity vindicate your faithfulness. Know this, rumours are carried by the enemies, spread by the ignorant and accepted by the fools without inquiry.

Therefore, always be careful of what you do, ensure you do nothing to gain men’s approval but to please God. Once your action is inspired by the Holy Spirit and it is for the glory of God, never pay attention to any mischief. I pray the Lord will help you to remain steadfast, focused on Jesus Christ and doing His will no matter the cost. Good morning and do have a refreshing Workers Day holiday.
